Clare Babino, MD, FACOG, ABIHM, leads WellnessMD in Smyrna, Georgia, as a specialist in functional medicine and gynecology. She treats patients holistically, searching for the underlying causes of their complaints and implementing the appropriate therapies.
Dr. Babino earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. She trained in both obstetrics and gynecology at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans.
Dr. Babino is a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, and a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. She was inspired to begin working in functional medicine after her son fell ill with a condition that specialists couldn’t diagnose through traditional medicine; Dr. Babino, however, was able to diagnose and heal her son through functional medicine.
