About

Placing your aging parent or other loved one in a nursing home may stir up a lot of emotions, but there’s no reason you should go it alone when providing care for your loved one. A senior living facility ensures they receive the care and attention they need and deserve. Located in Rochester, NY, Wesley Gardens has been committed to providing that care since 1960.

The nursing home offers a full range of services for both long- and short-term residents. From those who plan to live with them full-time to those who require respite care while you’re away for a few days, their staff is fully trained and experienced in working with patients with a variety of needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care. They provide numerous services to ensure their residents receive health care while offering a range of activities for socializing and relaxing. They receive regular doctor visits on-site and are re-evaluated routinely to adjust their care as necessary.

The assisted living facility offers 200 beds, with nearly 70% of those being private rooms. Their size allows them to invest in the latest equipment while remaining small enough that the staff can get to know every resident personally. With 24-hour care available, your loved one will get the care they need when they need it.

Their team always keeps their residents’ best interests in mind. They’ve remained a non-profit organization so that all of their money goes directly into the facility, allowing them to update their housing as needed to provide the best senior care possible to their residents.

When you’re considering placing your loved one in a nursing home, be sure to contact the friendly team at Wesley Gardens to see everything they have to offer. Call them at (585) 241-2100, and visit them online for more information on their services. Like them on Facebook for photos and company news.

I received a note this morning to come and see something in a residents room. What a beautiful treasure of Fall did I find. Thank you Ann Ball for your magnificent work of art! And just in time for the 1st day of Fall tomorrow September 21st. 🍂
Remember how excited you would get when you saw the ice cream truck coming? 🤗
“I know who’s driving it!” She knew who before she saw who. 😊
You know it’s a great day when the Ice Cream Truck comes by your house! Yum! 🍦 ☀️ 🚗
It was a beautiful Fall day for the bus excursion to end up at the Fountain downtown for Lunch on the Square. The City of Montgomery set up tables around the fountain. All the tables were socially distanced one from another. The residents enjoyed the wonderful sunshine and fresh air. It was an exciting excursion especially with the side trip to the drive up window at Kentucky Fried Chicken.🍗 🍁 ⛲️
Oh what fun we had today with CrAzY sOcK dAy! 🧦
March 3, 2010 this young lady came to live with us here at Wesley Gardens. Never would I imagine the impact she would have. Today, Mrs. E.A Thompson passed from this world. She leaves behind so so many wonderful, happy and interesting memories. 98 years of a life well lived. If there was ever a resident who benefited from our mission, it was Mrs. Thompson. We celebrated her life and shared the touch of God’s Love that is ever-present and ageless. She will be greatly missed.
Does anyone need a Hug? 💕 🤗 A huge thanks to Michael Hagen and the Redland Hills Church for making this “Hug Curtain” for us to use during family visits. It helped us safely bring this greatly missed special dimension to our family visits today. 😊 💜
Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood (GMC) as part of their Building Communities Day put together goody bags featuring warm whimsical socks 🧦 for our residents. The two Mary’s were excited to receive the wagon full of gifts on behalf of the residents. (Plus they got first pick of the socks) Thank you to Becky Harris for coordinating this special project for us. You guys definitely know how to “warm our soles!” 😊
These two make the best team. I’m not sure which one is more “persnickety.” Happy Moments, Fun Times! 🎄
When a new resident moves in during a pandemic they must isolate in their room for 14 days and not come out around other residents. So when their birthday falls on their 12th day of isolation, you come up with an alternate plan, gather a few friends and take the party to them. (safely distanced in the hallway.) 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝟴𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗝𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗲𝘆!! 🥳 We are so excited to have you here part of the Wesley Gardens Family. 😊

Thank You to all of our Veterans. As has been our tradition for many years, Col. Bill Allison conducted a Veterans Day Ceremony for us. A tremendous thank you to MiShawna Dinkins with CVS Health for keeping our Vaccine Clinic on task and running so smoothly. Also, we could not have done it without Bill Boland reminding everyone to STAY IN YOUR ROOM until there is a knock on their door letting them know it’s time to come get the shot.
