Our team is made up of board-certified healthcare professionals with special training in the management of pain. 👨‍⚕️ 👩‍⚕️ Our goal is to help ease your pain so that you can return to a more productive life. Today we achieved this through spinal cord stimulation! A spinal cord stimulator is an effective treatment for your back pain. It requires a minimally invasive procedure in which a thin wire is placed strategically in your spine. The wire sends mild electrical currents that disrupt the pain messages traveling from your spine to your brain. It’s best for conditions like sciatica and nerve damage that cause severe back pain. #spinalcordstimulation#painrelief#targetedpainrelief #wtpi

Did you know that people over the age of 45 are more likely to suffer from chronic lower back pain? According to the CDC, people aged 18-44 experience chronic lower back pain far less frequently than people aged 45 and over. The older you become, the more likely you are to suffer from lower back pain. Here are a few culprits for why you might be experiencing back pain: -Spinal stenosis: the narrowing of the space around the spinal cord, which can put pressure on the spinal nerves -Ankylosing spondylitis: inflames the joints of the spine, and sometimes the shoulders, hips, ribs, and other areas too -Fibromyalgia: causes widespread muscle aches #LetPainGo #LowerBackPain #ChronicPain
