Welcome to WesTex Urgent Care, serving children, adults, and seniors 7 days a week in Midland, TX. Dr. Terry L. Beck is a native of Texas with more than 23 years of experience working in emergency medicine, treating thousands of patients for just about every illness and injury imaginable. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and treats patients for illnesses and injuries when their regular physician is unavailable and an emergency room visit is unwarranted and undesired.
Dr. Beck earned his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with the highest honors. He later enrolled in medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Beck completed his residency at the same institution. Dr. Beck moved to Midland in 2003, where he accepted a position in Midland Memorial Hospital’s emergency department.
In 2010, Dr. Beck opened an urgent care center on the northwest side of Midland, which was known as First Med of Midland. Seeing his town’s need for another urgent care center on the south side of the city, Dr. Beck opened a second location in 2015. Today, both of these practices are operating under the name of WesTex Urgent Care. In his spare time he enjoys golf, hunting, and spending time with his family.
