Dr. Dente opened his practice specializing in medicine and surgery of the foot and ankle in in October 1980, providing full time service to the community of Williamsburg. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Dente attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 1979. He was selected to perform his residency training at Jacksonville General Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, one of the premier Podiatric residencies in the country. The hospital and its residency was approved by the JCAH and was a part of the University Hospitals combined residency program. Dr. Dente began his practice in the old Professional Building on Mt. Vernon Avenue, across from Williamsburg Community Hospital. In 1987, he moved out to Governor Berkeley Professional Center. November, 2000 he moved his practice to the Riverside Health Center. Now, 2013, Dr. Dente has acomplished the successful relocation to the beautiful Quarterland Commons, where he enjoys a well rounded and fulfilling practice.
