What do you love about yourself?
To kick off Thanksgiving Week, and the 6th Day of our Gratitude Family Challenge, we will be having our students participate in an activity to boost self esteem and confidence! At Young Innovators, we stress that our students not only be thankful for the things around them like their family, a home to live in, and food and water, but also themselves!
Let's be grateful for ourselves, because we are awesome!
Taking a couple of minutes out of our day to go on a thankful walk would be super healthy. Today is Day 5 of our 10-Day Gratitude Challenge!
Reflecting on things we are grateful for with our kids will help to show them that nature is beautiful, and will show them a great example of gratitude. Plus, a break from electronics on its own should be considered a win, right? Have an amazing day, and a great weekend!
Today, everyone should start their day off with a thankful moment. This is also Day 4 of our 10-Day Gratitude Family Challenge!
Before a family meal today, or at some point throughout the day, take a moment to go around and tell each other what you are grateful for. It could be something as simple as waking up in the morning, or something work or school related.
Whatever the case may be, lets say it out loud so we can spread positivity and kindness to others!

Tips for Family Gatherings during Covid
Today is the Thankful Bracelets Challenge, which is Day 3 of our 10-day Gratitude Challenge!
We ask you to gather any bracelet-making materials you have—thread, string, rubber band, etc, and have each person in your family decorate or create a thankful-themed bracelet. You can use beads to spell out “THANKFUL” or a pen to write “GRATITUDE” along a rubber band. However you choose to do it, having something tangible that represents our gratitude during this holiday season is very important!
