Physical therapist, and chiropractor, Daniel Jacobazzi of Chicago, Illinois who is immediately next to the Irving Park Brown line "L" station" in the North Center neighborhood has a unique background. Trained in engineering, he suffered several injuries during his collegiate pole vaulting career. Physical therapy and chiropractic treatment solved the problems and allowed him to continue competing through college. After obtaining a Bachelor's degree from Auburn University in 1992, Dr. Jacobazzi graduated from Life University of Chiropractic in 1999. He then completed a Master's degree in physical therapy at California State University Fresno in 2010, with an emphasis on sports medicine. The only practitioner in the state of Illinois to hold degrees in both physical therapy and chiropractic, Dr. Jacobazzi often gets improved results because of his dual perspective, and his engineering background has lead to his expertise in the field of biomechanics. Dr. Jacobazzi maintains his expertise in both fields through continuing education and is an active member of professional societies. He continues to compete as a triathlete and works hard to help each patient achieve the optimum level of health and wellness.
