Coast 2 Coast Nursing was founded in 2012 to assist people in need of finding high quality, professional caregivers while maintaining complete security and privacy. Our mission is to match caregivers and clients to ensure a worry-free, secure, arrangement that suits both parties at a reasonable one-time cost. We are completely flexible to our client’s needs and will work closely with you in all aspects of the search and will even help you negotiate the terms of your agreement with your selected caregiver! My name is Les Charapp and I got the idea to start Coast2Coast Nursing after helping one of my friends find a caregiver. My friend, a doctor at the National Intitute of Health (NIH), was struck by family illness and needed home assisted care. She contracted help through an agency and was paying many thousand of dollars per month to have some agency-selected stranger come to her house. When I found out how much she was paying to the agency (and how little of this was going to the actual caregiver), I told her I would help her find a better arrangement. I screened numerous candidates, performed criminal background checks and negotiated an agreement directly with the caregiver at less than half the cost of her current arrangement! After a career in commercial real estate investing and the restaurant industry I wanted to do something to give back to the community and found this perfect niche to really help people in need of care (and those providing it) find each other in a safe, secure, and low cost manner without paying exorbitant agency fees.
