Brian Goodman, M.D., is a board-certified thoracic surgeon. Specializing in minimally invasive approaches to diseases of the chest, Dr. Goodman’s clinical interests include lung and esophageal cancer, lung nodules, pleural disease, mediastinal disease, chest wall masses, as well as palliative and diagnostic procedures. He is also focused on building multidisciplinary thoracic oncology programs. He is a graduate of the University of the Vermont College of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Goodman completed a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University Medical Center, and advanced fellowships in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and thoracic oncology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where he was also an Instructor in surgery at Harvard Medical School. He is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
