David Haybron, M.D., is a board-certified cardiovascular surgeon. Before coming to Wheeling Hospital, Dr. Haybron was with Pittsburgh Cardiothoracic Associates. He also has served as cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon at the West Penn Allegheny Health Systems. Dr. Haybron earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Case Western Reserve University and a master’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Hawaii. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His residency in general surgery was performed at the UCLA; residency in thoracic surgery at The Ohio State University; and his clinical associate fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Haybron is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, the American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
