Happy Saturday friends! ☀️ “A bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you fail to make the turn.” -Helen Keller. I came across this quote the other day and it stuck with me. With everything going on in the world now is the time to pivot, make changes, and reflect on how our lives were before the pandemic and how we want our lives to be better after. I have had to make significant changes in my business, my relationships, and in myself. Some changes came with much resistance, but in the end I choose acceptance. Don’t be afraid to change course and take a different turn, it may end up being the best thing you have ever done. #change #life #perseverance #mindset #risk #takethechance #thinkhappylivehealthy #saturdaymorning #mindsetiseverything
Living your best life is about taking risks, failing, and never letting fear make your decision. Stop asking “what if I fail?” and instead go after it. #successmindset #itsokaytofail #motivation #mindset #thinkhappylivehealthy #therapy
For every negative thought you become aware of, offer yourself 2 positive beliefs. By doing this you will start to become a more positive and truer version of yourself. #challengeyourthoughts #changeyourmindset #bepositive✌ #mentalwellness #therapy #psychology #thinkhappylivehealthy
Enjoyed this rainy afternoon creating a vision board to remind me what is important in life, where I want to go, and to be thankful for everything I have. It’s going to hang in my home office so that no matter what happens I have a series of meaningful images and quotes to help guide me through this crazy journey of life. Creating the life you want is as simple as imaging it, and then doing whatever it takes to make it happen, and never giving up. #visionboard #thinkhappylivehealthy #visualizegoals #createalifeyoulove #happiness #mindset
Let’s get after it today, because whatever your goal is... you deserve it. ✨ ✨ #goalsetting #motivation #dreambig #changeisgood #thinkhappylivehealthy #goals #positivevibes #selflove #wakeupkickbuttrepeat
Giving thanks can make you happier. Im not just saying that, there have been countless research studies in the field of positive psychology stating that gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. ✨ So if you want to Think Happy this thanksgiving, take a moment to think about a loved one you are grateful for. If you won’t be sitting around the table with them this year, think of a different way to give them thanks. Our family has offered contactless delivery of the food they are cooking...so while we can’t all be at the same table we can still share in the same delicious traditions. 🦃🙏💕 At Think Happy Live Healthy we are thankful for our amazing team of therapists and staff who give the best version of themselves each and everyday. We are grateful to our clients who have trusted us to navigate through this virtual world together, and for our ever growing community of support that continues to allow us to do what we love! ✨ 💕 #thlhthanksgiving #gratitude #positivepsychology #thankfulheart #smallbusiness #mentalwellness #thinkhappylivehealthy
Life keeps throwing me challenges, knocking me down and completely changing my plan. Sure some days are more challenging than others but I accept those days and give myself the rest and relaxation my body needs. Having a positive mindset doesn’t mean I’m always happy. It means reframing those challenges. Maybe all of these things I am experiencing are not changing my plan but making it better. Maybe it’s teaching me to become the strongest version of myself. All I know is that we are tougher and stronger than we give our minds credit for. Some things that have helped me stay positive: Mediation/Gratitude Yoga Walks with my dog Support from my husband Love from my fam and friends Owning a company I believe in Having a purpose Creativity outlets #thinkhappy #positivemindset #mentalwellness #selfcare #empoweringwomen #lifeisbeautiful #gratitude #meditation
2020 has taught me to enjoy the quiet moments, the moments where nothing big happens other than watching a sunset, playing with my dog, cuddling on the couch. The moments where I feel loved. I live in these moments now more than ever and those are the things that create a life of happy memories. #drseussquotes #thinkhappy #memoriesforlife #postivequotes #mentalwellness #presentmoment #livelifehappy #thinkhappylivehealthy
I took time last weekend to disconnect from everything around me and reconnect to myself. It felt so good to hike through the fog and sit above it as it dissipated. Made me realize how much were climbing through fog day to day and sometimes it’s hard to realize that it will clear and something beautiful is waiting. #thinkhappylivehealthy #crabtreefalls #reconnectwithnature #patience #gratefulheart #thinkpositive #mentalhealth #therapy
This is a wonderful time for a fresh start and to not only welcome new intentions into our life but to also release ones that no longer serve us. This could mean physical or emotional. To release what may be holding you back and make room for more positive experiences and emotions, such as love, health, and well-being. Let’s change New Years “resolutions”to new year “reflections” and setting intentions. Reflecting encourages us to take an honest curious look at our actions and mindset that have contributed to where we currently are. To accept where we are in our journey, without judgement or criticism, and with compassion. Whereas a “resolution” brings up a success or fail mentality. Most of us create New Years resolutions from a place of judgement and comparison rather than a place of truly authentic self growth. So this year let’s try reflecting and then set a daily or weekly intention to help guide you to your goals.#happynewyear #mentalhealth #therapy #reflection #wellnessjourney #selfgrowth #selflove #thinkhappylivehealthy
