Following graduation from Rutgers College, Dr. Wiedeman earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. She continued her optometric training through residency at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Lyons, New Jersey specializing in hospital-based optometry and ophthalmologic co-management of glaucoma, ocular disease, inflammation, trauma, retinopathy, laser surgery, and cataracts. Dr. Wiedeman also received training in contact lenses at the Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia where she worked to evaluate and fit specialty lenses for Keratoconic and post-surgical patients.
Dr. Wiedeman has cared for patients in central NJ since 1992. She joined Del Negro & Senft Eye Associates in 2010: Dr. Wiedeman currently performs a routine eye exam and contact lens fittings in conjunction with assisting Drs. Del Negro, Senft, and Glatman with post-op surgical care.
New Jersey state licensed and board certified in ocular and oral pharmaceutical agents, Dr. Wiedeman’s training and experience allow her to diagnose, treat, and manage or co-manage all eye conditions.
