Dr. Ramandeep Bains is a general rheumatologist who cares for patients with all types of rheumatic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout and osteoarthritis, and performs joint injections. She prefers to develop a relationship with her patients that supports shared decision making. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and is fluent in Spanish.
Born and raised in Northern California, Dr. Bains completed her Bachelor�s degree in Biological Sciences with Honors from the University of California, Davis. She attended medical school at St. George's University School of Medicine, and completed Internal Medicine residency at Alameda Health System Highland Hospital in Oakland. She went on to complete her Rheumatology fellowship at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center.
Dr. Bains enjoys participating in teaching activities with residents and fellows at UCLA. She also serves as a guest lecturer at UCSF for the Division of Pain Medicine.
When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, hiking and traveling.
