Dr. Ramee Younes is an infectious diseases physician who practices in Encino. Her clinical interests include antibiotic stewardship, medical education, tropical/travel medicine, and endemic as well as opportunistic fungal infections. She is board certified in internal medicine and is also a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Younes received her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Olive View-UCLA and her infectious diseases fellowship at UC Irvine. During her fellowship, she was awarded the inaugural Trainee Innovations Grant and developed an online infectious diseases curriculum for medical students and residents; she continues to build upon this resource. She is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA).
Dr. Younes is fluent in both English and Arabic and speaks conversational Spanish.
