As a drill instructor at a Southern California military-themed fitness boot camp, Jim has assisted hundreds of boot campers to build muscle definition while losing weight and raising confidence. Utilizing a highly disciplined training regimen, including calisthenics, cardio and military drills. This served as an inspiration for Jim to pursue his dreams offering a fitness course that could appeal to a broader target audience as many were too intimidated to join a military style boot camp. Though his workouts are intense Jim trains in a non-intimidating style without yelling at his boot campers. In January 2009 Jim founded, The Survivor Challenge, an outdoor fitness program benefiting anyone with the desire to improve their health. Exhilarated with losing anywhere from five to twenty pounds of body fat within one 6-week course, Jim's program has maintained a 95% return rate as his members have been using The Survivor Challenge as their regular exercise regimen for the past six months.
