Walter S. Langheinrich, MD received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his surgical internship and neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He obtained his board certification from the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 2000.
His expertise is well respected among colleagues, and he has published several articles in periodicals such as Internal Medicine and the Journal of Neurosurgery. His career also includes extensive research in the radiobiology of human meningioma.
Dr. Langheinrich�s special interests are: microsurgical treatment for trigeminal neuralgia, vagal nerve stimulator treatment of epilepsy, baclofen and intrathecal pump therapy for spasticity, spine and tumor surgery.
