Jared Z. Gold, M.D.
JARED Z. GOLD, M.D. is Board Certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and is trained in both general gastroenterology (digestive diseases) and hepatology (liver diseases). He has been in practice in Monmouth County for over 11 years.
Dr. Gold raised in Manalapan, N.J. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and then went on to pursue his medical education at the prestigious Sackler School of Medicine, New York State American Program. He completed both his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein University Hospital in New York. Dr. Gold then remained in New York and went on to complete his Gastroenterology fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital. At Stony Brook he gained expertise in both colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, as well as advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP for diagnostic and treatment of biliary and pancreatic diseases.
Dr. Gold treats all aspects of gastroenterology (digestive diseases) and hepatology (liver diseases)) with special interests in Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s disease, Liver Diseases and Nutrition. He also performs in-office hemorrhoid banding with the CRH O’Regan Hemmorrhoid Removal system, which is a fast and painless procedure to treat hemorrhoids without surgery.
Dr. Gold has done research and is published in well-known medical journals. He has been featured in the NJ Top Docs “Healthy Living” magazine. Dr. Gold’s goal is to provide excellent quality medical care with an individualistic approach to each and every patient.
He resides in the Manalapan area with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys weight training, running, tennis and is an avid skier.
